Haven't posted in a while... But got plenty to show.

These are all concepts for our group film, Wait for Dessert. Once I get more animating done, I'll post those up here too!

Character designs

These were my original designs and beats for the "Catnipping Green" group storyboard. After the voting, we changed the designs just a little:

The doctor (far left) is mostly the same. I just combined Ashly's design with mine and got this nice hybrid. My Tomcat is more or less the same. And I tweaked the grunt nurse to give her eyes and a smidge more expression, and just made the patient cat's silhouette more readable (looks like a freaking bowling pin).

First semester is finally over! And somehow, I'm still alive ;_;

First up: Animation!

Man, I still think the smears look weird. First time really experimenting with the smears but I will try to do better in the future. Really had a lot of fun animating the movements.



My favorites of the thumbnail portfolio for Scott. Themes were "Storm", "Fortress", and "Scary Medieval Ruins".

My first Leica. Weirdly enough, this wasn't half bad. I really enjoyed editing the music to the panels, if anything. Storyline is a little 'meh' for my tastes but I wanted to try something straight-on and simple. (Also gags pretty much speak for themselves)

And that's it for first semester.

HA. Walk and Run animation. Really wish I had the time to in-between the interaction but... hey, at least it still turned out the way I wanted.

Painting + Doodles

You know what's great about Mondays? How they never fail to disappoint and utterly devastate the course of your arting starvist life until you accept your existence as the Turd of 1000 Failures.

And because my caring capacity was breached pretty much immediately, I did some ink doodles, which turned out a billion times better at a quarter of the effort.

Gotta love my slowly deteriorating ability to draw straight lines.

Wow. Talk about half-assing. I swear to god, I will be more focused on layout the second half this semester. Scott Caple is such an inspiration ;_;

The Sly

Haven't updated in a long ass time. Don't have much to show for it but here's a doodle of my very first Anthro character, renamed Lucio the Sly. I'm really not much for the Anthros but for some reason I grew very attached to him... And even wrote a new story for him. Ho ho ho.
